Sean obtained his BA in English from the University of Hawaii and received his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. As a law student, Sean provided legal assistance to abused immigrant women seeking protection under the Violence Against Women Act, aided indigent citizens with their child support and custody issues, served the Juvenile Division of the Montgomery County Public Defender's Office assisting troubled youth, and volunteered his time as a boxing coach at the East Dayton Boxing Club.
Sean is a member of the Hawai`i State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all Hawai`i courts and the United States District Court for the District of Hawai`i.
