Daniel T. Kim
Attorney Daniel T. Kim brings 28 years of experience in commercial, construction, and insurance defense litigation to his role as Partner in the Honolulu law firm of Chee Markham & Feldman. His experience includes handling every aspect of litigation in trials, arbitrations, mediations, administrative proceedings, and settlement negotiations. He also provides advice and guidance to clients in commercial construction and government procurement matters. Mr. Kim has received the highest possible AV Preeminent Rating for legal ability and ethical standards from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the confidential opinions of the members of the Bar and the Judiciary.
Mr. Kim received his A.B. in Biology from Washington University in 1984. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii in 1987. While in law school, he was selected for membership in the Law Review, and served as Casenote Co-Author in 1985-86 and Articles Editor in 1986-87. He was also a member of the Moot Court Board in 1986-87 and received the Corpus Juris Secundum Award in his third year.
Mr. Kim is a member of the Hawaii Bar and is also admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, the United States Court of Federal Claims, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He has served multiple terms as President of Pearl Harbor Kiwanis, and speaks and understands Japanese.
